I sleep like a baby at night, but my wife is like you guys, maybe 4 or 5 hours a night.

That's prob why I wake up a 6 every morning and she can sleep to 9 or 10 if we aren't going anywhere.

No matter what time I go to bed, I can not sleep past 7am at the latest. If I do it is a RARE day. I also can't sleep more than 6 hours a night so I won't got to bed until midnight.
I don't know why my body does this to me. I guess all the years I HAD to do this has just programmed it to be that way :dunno:

I think programming does have a lot to do with it. For 25 years I had to be up at 5:30 to 6:00 to leave for work by 6:45. Even though I don't work that schedule anymore I still wake up at 5:30 to 6??

Yep, Dad got up about 4:30 for work for about 20 years. When he retired he still got up then. He took a mid morning nap after he retired but he never could break the early rise.

When I worked a full time job it was always day shift and I was up by 5am. Once we had the boy it was daycare or I stay home. We chose for me to stay home but I was still getting up around 5 or 6.
One Christmas the hubby was laid off from Navistar and I needed to get a job to help out. I was working 4p-12a and not going to sleep until 2a or so. I was still waking up no later than 6a. I watch the hubby adjust to whatever schedule he is on within a day or two and makes me jealous. I watch him sleep in on the weekends until 10 or 11 am.. that just makes me mad
Sleep doesn't always come easy for some so for those of you it does... enjoy it
