Whatcha gonna do? Chase him in the snow?
But seriously, let me know how they do in the snow.
I don't believe I have ever posted a picture of any of my employees on here, have I?So how'd the firing go? Not the one you posted pics of on here was it?
Just for the record, I CAN and DO drive in the snow. I just didn't feel comfortable driving to a place I had never been to, that was an hour and a half away, in a snow storm.
I already plan on redeeming myself soon
That's when you just throw some emergency gear in the back and go.
But I would recommend a map, compass, and having some good directions though. Its not that hard, I've done that sort of trip in a snow storm many times. Last one was from NWI coming home from my ex g/f's parents house, in a snow storm bad enough you couldn't see the road hardly 20 ft in front of you. Normally a 2.5 hr trip, took over 4 hrs. And I was driving a 2wd ranger. Surely you can do a 1.5 hr trip in a modded jeep.
I didn't have emergency supplies back then. I do now though
Good, now you have no excuse!
If this winter, I still hear you aren't driving that jeep in the snow, I'm sure you will be forever picked on about it.
HEY! WTH man...
I recommen the BFG KM2's. AWESOME tires!
Where are all these hot people and guns?
Watch it punk.
No worries. I have a winch this time too.
What winch do you have, lovemachine?
Any recomendations for a basic recovery kit to get me through winter? Tow strap, etc.?
Careful. There's snatch straps, tow straps and recovery straps. And using the wrong one can do damage...
Recovery for getting unstuck.
Tow strap for towing.
Don't worry about snatch straps until you're doing crazy rock crawling.
Why do you want 33x10.5 tires and not 33x12.5?
From what I've read 10.5's are better on road and in the snow.
