After so many years, the cough would have to be pretty bad before I'd want her to leave. I actually have a hard time sleeping when she's not there.

he didn't complain, I just hate keeping him awake and he mentioned he noticed me coughing real bad last night. he takes sleeping pills so for him to notice, it was bad.

I'm sure he would rather have you there. I have to admit that eventually the lack of sleep would catch up to me but by that time I'd be more concerned about her than my sleep.
