    You don't have to, but it would be a very nice learning experience. I want an FN 15 currently, but thats after I build a few more… :):

    Yeah, I was young and dumb with disposable income when I bought my 1911...I'm pretty sure I overpaid for it but I had cash in hand and he had a gun that I wanted so I bought it. I want to know what I'm getting in to with an AR and building it would be a good starting point.

    Dude…assemble the lower and get a PSA upper. Thats what I did with my first build, and that 20" SS FN heavy barrel is SOOOOOOOOOO accurate. Don't think I will use a PSA LPK again though, trigger is not as good as a CMMG

    I think I just sold my Varmint AR. Will know this weekend. Got the Varmint thing covered with 2 other guns and the funds will go nicely towards something else.

    Half an hour and some well applied love will bring the trigger in nicely but yeah...CMMG is better parts.
