You know I was just thinking how convenient it is to have a big hospital only blocks from work (or the edge of the 22 square miles anyway), so that we have a better chance of living, when it dawned on me. Duh. Duh. Duh.
I'm betting work had a big say in it being placed there.
I mean the city of Gary was CREATED just to house the workers here.
The mill was created before anything else was even here.
In fact, tjll recently, we HAD a hospital on the premises.
