It's nice that you had friends to turn to. Even nicer that they understood your initial reaction.you are so right. When I first started having issues, I pushed everyone away. they were some of the best friends I had, but I thought they were out to get me. They hated me, etc. I closed myself off away from everyone because I was so ashamed of what I was. The meds helped and I reached back out to friends with an apology. It was all I could do. I am so glad they all understood.
