Our lawn guys came yesterday and left the back gate open. I let the dogs out and two of the four took off toward the 473493 people in the middle school parking lot/ball field across the street. :xmad: Thank God for Costco duck jerky. I rattled the bag and they came right back.

I do my own snowblowing, but I let someone else deal with the grass. We live on a cul-de-sac, so it's a wedge-shaped lot that's 150 ft across the back. These guys weedwhack along the fence around the whole perimiter and mow front and back for $26. If I don't get a job soon, I guess I'll be back to mowing my own.

Fortunately my lot isn't very big, but it's no fun on a hot day. I do the back first because the front yard is the size of a postage stamp. Makes me feel like there's not much left once I get around front :):

I have been running the chain saw and clearing the damn Mulberry trees from the fence line. They grow like weeds. I got hit inn the left eye by an errant branch and I look like Rocky balboa....well not that bad but it freaking hurts.
Raking and running the leaf blower. Weed eater took a :poop: so I will have to replace it.

My mower is a POS, it's just plain worn out. Gotta get a new one. I was going to get a new one after the first, but the yard was just getting too shaggy. I was surprised the old one started for me today.

I bought one two years ago for $30 from some guy on craiglist. Last week I pulled it out to try and do the yard. Nope. It's finally dead. It had been acting up last year so I expected it. I got my money's worth out of it. I can't complain :dunno:

    :+1:

Not today, hope I can make it Monday! I worked midnights and haven't made it to bed yet. Gonna sleep a few hours then to the hospital with my wife to see her mom.

Everything okay with her mom? Nothing serious I hope.

Our mower and tiller are both getting serviced today. New mower battery was $50...ouch.
