    These cars will surprise you when the throttle gets matted. Buddy has has a couple of them. Runs the boost up and runs the snot out of the thing. Clutches struggle with the power. Head gaskets tend to lift after that level of abuse but they are a hoot to drive.

    This is my second one, actually the one that made me love these cars, as my parents bought it new in '83. I had an '84 that had 200k when I shattered the transmission when I ****ed up a shift from 2-3rd at about 50mph, I missed third and punched it back into first. I loved that car.

    I did not realize his shoots our there were more in depth

    Yeah, he sets up full field courses and you shoot each course twice. After the first time through, Coach critiques and makes suggestions for the second time through. The one you and I did together was more geared toward beginners. At the instructional shoots out at Riley, you'll see a lot of the same guys that shoot the matches.

    I did not know this. Seems like a logical next step for me so that I don't shoot my wiener off or something
