Not too bad. I've been working a lot. Last week they sent me to Minnesota. I work a bunch this week and then leave for the Bahamas on Friday.

I worked the NRA banquet here in Terre Haute yesterday. We had 46 guns to give away. It went incredibly well and I was glad to see so much support for the NRA from local individuals.

Valve compound is to gritty. It is made to remove material. That is not what you want to do. Just polish up the mating surfaces on the hammer/sear. I use a polishing compound. Flitz I think. I also have some different past compounds.

NAPA polishing compound will work for this. There is a good u-tube video posted up in the gunsmith forum on this.
Just make it shiny......
