The thing is - if you wait until you're 'ready' to have kids, you'll never have them.

Nobody is ready, ever, no matter how prepared they think they are.

I've not lived paycheck-to-paycheck in many years and put back a few thousand into the savings account every month and even then - children are a lot of work and a constant learning experience. Sure - we don't hurt for money - but there is a lot more to raising a child than money.

Well could mean it's a big deal, not that it's good or bad.

Unless you dont have sex with your girlfriend and she gets pregnant.Then it could be kinda bad.

I have an 18 month old son myself and wife is currently pregnant so I know what you mean!
