OK....what the hell have I missed......wait, maybe I do not want to know. My old frame and frail mind could implode.....:fogey:

I don't know for sure...I was out putting out a fire in my barn and came in to find this porn discussion. No more heat lamps and death to ALL raccoons from this point on. Stupid thing got in there and knocked the heat lamp down and into the straw. Just glad we caught it soon after it happened and I grabbed the fire extinguisher to get it under control until I could haul buckets of water out there. Outside faucets are all turned off and winterized. That could have been ugly!

We got it under control and all five guineas are accounted for. Doing laundry again to wash our smoky, stinky coats and clothes. Showered and clean. Might need to dig out an inhaler if I can't get rid of the tickle in my throat. I grabbed a respirator on the way out the door too, but it was pretty smoky when we first went out there.

I think hes saying it burns when he pees.

Well, what little sense that made is gone. THanks mom...

Glad you got your barn under control. That could have definitely been ugly.

Damn. Hate that for you. Death to all coons. Glad you are OK.

I'm pretty sure there is an opossum living under the straw pile. I may have to move the bales to see if I can find it and get rid of that too. I noticed a hole where it looks like something tunneled under there. The coon that was in the garage the other night got tossed on top of a snow pile so I was hoping the others would see it and know to avoid our house!

We got 2 possums last year. We have seen at least 1 every year for the last 10. 2 years ago there were young possums in the garden. Not posting what happened to them.....:)

They're even nastier than the coons. I found one dead under the back deck last summer and another dead under our front walk (wooden steps/walkway) this fall. I don't know why they died but we see them here all the time. I've gotten pretty good with using the pitchfork to hold them till I can run in for my gun if I don't have it on me. My mom taught me that one...nothing like life on a farm! I went out to get eggs one time and the stupid opossum was in the nesting box sitting on the eggs. They go in the garage through the cat doors to eat the cat food if I don't pick it up and hide it at night. And people wonder why I don't have a cat door no the house. :ugh:

Mom, I would suggest live traps for the varmints but you'd probably get all cats :dunno:

I guess an INGO meet & shoot with varmint rifles is in order...
