Basically, they did not say anything about "no guns" till you get there.
    So, people turned away.
Then afterward, a couple people started posting about "gun nuts". And all the stupid arguments..... small penis, violent, itchy trigger, show offs, etc.
So we added a couple respectful comments.

Some people will just never get it. Interesting discussion.

I don't do Facebook. Am I am very happy with that.

I almost spit food out of my mouth when I read the line about the gun guy (?there were several) must never get out of their mom's basement.
Coming from a person on a comic convention site.
Now I know, not all comic people stay in their mom's basement. But isn't that the stereotype for them?

They are F'n Liberl nerds... Just go and tell them you are dressed as a GI Joe and the gun is a prop... They wont know the difference

Very good point. Stereotype, yes...but often times quite true.

Argh. Just read the whole thing. The ignorance of some is amazing.

[/h]Really grateful for the security. I don't feel comfortable with itchy trigger-finger gun slingers. Responsible gun owners don't have a problem with not carrying in a packed house.

Posted by one of the guys turned away.
I think it has the most comments.

[/h]I was on my way to Comic-Con, when I heard you weren't allowing people to lawfully exercise their Second Amendment right.. That's very unfortunate, and I don't feel safe taking my family to an unsecured event...I'm afraid we won't be attending this year...
