Oh no. I've missed it. My other Riviera has some get up and go but not like this one

I'm glad it makes you happy. Get up an go is always fun. If you guys really enjoy doing that kind of stuff I have a VW over here that needs a new set of lifters and an ABS controller.

I do enjoy tinkering, but not in this weather. I didn't do the work on my car. No way am I gonna do a motor swap and new steering column in this cold

If there's any hope of saving this VW, I'm gonna have to attempt the job myself. Paying to have it done would cost way more than the car is worth. Never done anything like this before but we've got nothing to lose at this point other than a little bit of $$ in parts. Its worth a try for that. The weather is what's kept me from starting on it too. I have a garage but its still cold out there unless I keep it closed and run a heater but my wife and I still keep our vehicles in there. I'll probably start tearing into it soon.
