Well if anyone has a truck we're going to have to move a motor here in just a couple days, and move the Riviera from where it is to another shop

Yes and no. We found a good deal on another car and we're actually thinking about doing both

I'm eating pretzels and listening to hubby complain about the local Chevy dealer's service department. They have our friend's truck and won't give it back to her! They are too stupid to fix it.

Call someone higher up the food chain. District Manager or something like that.

Can you get a used motor from a salvage yard reasonable? We were able to get one a few years back with about 43,000 miles on it for $450. That was a steal! I had to call around to several before I found it, but we zoomed right over and got it as soon as they had it pulled from the car that had come in.

What was the word on the car?

I went to school with the owner and am planning to have a chat with him. We've known each other since first grade. We told her to take the truck there because we have always had such a good experience there. The truck went in because it was hard starting. They replaced the fuel regulator and then it started making some strange noises. The found the part was defective and replaced it again....went to pick it up and it is making even stranger noises that it was not making when we took it in. They have had it for three weeks now. She WAS going to buy her next vehicle from them, but I bet she won't now.
