    Should I get it?

If you're sure there's no cops around and you can start it without the key.

I suspect that is it, she is 89 and may have given the number to someone she shouldn't have.

She has done some stuff in the last year that she shouldn't have done. May have to have the conversation about my taking over her bills and finances.

It's hard when they are used to being independent and are used to being able to trust people. I've had a number of talks with the neighbor about people who call her and how many scams are out there, etc. She is getting very good at hanging up on people or not answering the phone when she doesn't know the number. May parents are the same age as the neighbor and are both still very sharp mentally so I know they are good at handling those types of calls. I hope you can get it all straightened out for her.
