That's a good lookin' springer...I loose feeling in my fingers when it's too cold so I don't ride below 30 or so

If you rolled the springer over 100 miles you loose feeling in more than your fingers. It was like riding a pissed of barrel racer horse. Had to keep its head all the time.

The Springer was a handfull. This one we built from scratch. Mid 80's and a much younger and lighter me.
8.36 with my 230 lbs. and 7.99 with a very light (and very good) friend in the saddle.

1984 FXR I cut up into pieces (literally) and made this. It was not as fast as the Springer but it started a lot of guys making power with the V-Twin.
