Nothing like 14.6 MPG on the interstate doing 70MPH...
[New truck, gets a little less mileage than I hoped] lol.

Many soldiers returning from the Second World War wouldn't ride a green Harley. Mostly because their buddies were shot sitting on them. When the outlaw culture took off, seeing how many of them were soldiers, they wouldn't allow Green Harley's in many clubs. I'm sure there's other reasons. But I've heard of this one many times. What's wrong with green??

I wasn't there - wife drove the truck down to Columbus to visit a friend and her passenger snapped the pic. About 1 mile north of the Columbus exit on 65 south - she said traffic was backed up for about 4 miles.Mike....did you catch the company name on the tow rigs on scene????
Most likely - sure it was a heck of a ride though.Cab is intact....most likely walked away.
When I looked they get excellent mileage compared to their gasoline counterparts. Main reason I didn't go for one is simply because Ford wasn't willing to work with me on financing like Toyota was [even though I put $10k down cash] and getting what I wanted in a Diesel Ford was going to be $10~15k/more than the Tundra.Anybody know what diesel superdutys get in mileage?
We have one at work, but they drive it maybe 2 miles at a time. Not sure what mpg's they get. Driving in the mill, it wouldn't be good.Anybody know what diesel superdutys get in mileage?

Even then - the diesel motors are much more efficient than their gasoline counterparts if memory serves me. Maybe somebody else can be more specific.I should point out I meant the older trucks 1998-2003
Hey CM, what's your opinion on the Springfield RO? I've heard you speak of em before, I've never owned one. Thinking of maybe picking one up at Blythes today!
