I was sound asleep at midnight, then the fireworks and gun shots and the text messages started. I think I heard more fireworks than gun shots.
I know I laid there listening to it all and thinking, fireworks. yep that was gun fire. people with 12 & 15 round mags emptying them into what?! the ****ing air!?
    that **** pisses me off

My sister used to have neighbors like that, they would fire into the air, and they had a LOT of guns and ammo...

Wow, that's a lot of noise! I crashed about 11:30, but I didn't hear anything out here... They save all that for the Fourth of July...

I usually don't hear anything when I am sleeping. It woke me up

I'm used to it though, been here since '99. some things never change

honestly Frosty it really doesn't bother me

I normally stand on my front porch and I can hear traffic in the distance, but our neighborhood is quiet. I was on my daughters front porch in Plymouth over the weekend, I heard about as much traffic in the distance as I do at my house. The city as a whole, is a cess pool. you can find some quiet neighborhoods and I have.

It all depends on where you go, some areas go from the hood to a very well kept neighborhood in just a block! I'm in town working a lot, but I wouldn't want to live there, to much stuff around and to many people!
