I've got one, but I'm thinking about getting a carry version. I know I'm comparing apples to mangos, but it is so much more accurate than my glock.

As you can tell from my avatar I'm a Colt fan. I've got an officers model for carry. Would like to have one in a lite weight.

I love my Kimber, but you cannot go wrong with a Colt. One of the first hand guns I shot was a Colt Gold Cup.

Have you looked into the RIA? From what I have seen of them I really like them and they sure are priced right.

I would stay away from RIA's. At least get a Remington or Springfield.

If you're looking at a RIA, you might want to ask CM about them, I have no personal experience with them. Greg is right though, they do have a nice price.

On this we will have to disagree. I was thinking RIA not RRA. Springfields I like, Remington I don't know a lot about.
RRA makes a good AR but not sure about their 1911's.
