obviously I wasn't the only one that noticed it and was disgusted by it. Thanks CM

I was disgusted by the conditions when I moved there too. After a while I came to realize that we take food safety WAY too seriously here in America. After letting my body adjust for a month or so, I never had a problem.

I think almost everyone in Thailand smokes. Is that correct JDM???

Yep. They have an extreme amount of smokers and alcoholics. Most poor people don't have anything to do but sit by the street, smoke, and drink cheap whiskey.

I hate looking for airfare. It is so expensive to fly. I'm looking for a flight to the Bahamas this March and they are all running around $500. I'm getting screwed by the spring break travelers.

Yep, that's the most expensive time of the year to fly down there. Can't go earlier or later???
Nope. We are chartering a sailboat for a week of sailing and diving. I was pretty worried last week when I read online that one of the companies sailboats sunk with fifteen passengers on board. Luckily they have three identical sailboats and were only using two of them, so our trip is still on. After a week of living on the boat and diving we have chartered a small boat to chum the waters and take us for a shark dive.

JD that Thai food looks freakin' fantastic. Ever find anything even close to the same in the states?
Not in Indiana. There is genuinely authentic Thai food in Chicago though. There are a couple of great places near the Thai consulate I are at when I was there bribing officials to get my visa without the proper paperwork.

Ugh...Chicago...Damn it. I'm gonna try a place here in Indy. I'm sure it's not even meant to be authentic, but hopefully it'll give me an idea of what's good and what isn't.
