I tried to slice the end of it off at work. Had it been a straight cut instead of a flap cut, it would have been 6 stitches. Instead it's steri-stripped up good with a huge dressing on it. The end of my finger is now as big around as my thumb

I feel so sorry for my poor mother now that I'm older. Now I know why when I was a kid and said I was going to run away she would look at me and say "Fine. Need some help packing your bags?"

no it's the index finger
Never realized how much I used it, until now

can't get it wet at all so I bought finger rubbers and then I put a rubber glove over that and wrap my wrist with a rubber band.. I think it's safe..

going to be a week before I go back to medcheck

You had me thinking of the old Seinfeld episode. George thinks somebody flipped him the bird and follows him for a couple of hours to give him a piece of his mind. When the guy stops, he has his middle finger in a brace and it's all bandaged up!!

today I was explaining something to someone and I was using my finger to point to the stuff I was talking about on the paper. I realized I was using my middle finger so I wouldn't hurt the index finger. I just kept going, hoping I wasn't offending anyone
