    The way the company handbook is written, it doesn't say anything about a limit. It just says when you have 160 hours, you can start cashing in vacation a week at a time.

    I have 320 hours banked. Called to cash in a week and started the whole chain of events.

    That is only 8 weeks. they want you to burn half of your vacation :nuts:

    Well, The boss is the Boss, I will do something.

    I don't take any time off because I don't ever have the extra cash to go anywhere. We took a week last fall and went to Seattle, wasn't planning on making another trip for at least a year.

    stay home and visit family around the holidays. That is what I like to do. if your are like my wife you have to travel to visit family. only her parents live in the state the rest are spread out.

    That's funny. All of the wifes family have followed her to Batesville. And her kids are in Seattle, that's an expensive trip, so we will not be going there soon.

    all my family lives within an hour. it's the wife's family that doesn't. Her grandmother for our Christmas present paid for our plain tickets to come spend a week with her.
