Well crap. I just got semi-yelled at from the company HR guy!!!

Seems I have banked too much vacation time. I am being forced to take 4 weeks vacation between now and July 1.

how much is too much. and you have to take 4 weeks between now and july. not too bad.

Actually I would take December 23 through January 3rd that would be 8 of 20 days you need to take. plus the week of thanks giving makes 12.

then I would just sprinkle in some 3 and 4 day weekends to finish off the rest.

The way the company handbook is written, it doesn't say anything about a limit. It just says when you have 160 hours, you can start cashing in vacation a week at a time.

I have 320 hours banked. Called to cash in a week and started the whole chain of events.
