    My wife was that way 33 years ago. Worked nights. Took a long time to turn her around. She still sleeps to the absolute last possible moment. I have come to learn that if I cover the alarm clock and do not answer her obvious question..."What time is it" she will get up. Always fought for that last 5 minutes of sack time.

    Who said anything about opening my eyes? :):

    I moved my alarm clock over to my dresser so I actually have to get out of bed to hit the snooze button. I figured that would help. Nope. Instead I learned how to get up out of bed and navigate the distance to the loud buzzing thing with my eyes closed
