Have no freaking idea why I have been waking up at 4:00 AM...............:

And I have no freaking idea why I CAN'T sleep before 5 or 6

HABIT

50 years of getting up and getting after it and now I can not stop.

Probably the same for me. I've worked nights since...well since I was old enough to work.

Well except for 6 months as a temp when I worked 6am to 2:30. Oh God that was a miserable 6 months. I hate mornings

Mornings are peaceful. If done properly they start my day off with a smile or at the I intend to smile. Add people to this and Mornings can suck.

See I'm the opposite. I've always been a night person as long as I can remember. Me going to bed before 1am means something is severely wrong with me. Like catastrophic.

My wife was that way 33 years ago. Worked nights. Took a long time to turn her around. She still sleeps to the absolute last possible moment. I have come to learn that if I cover the alarm clock and do not answer her obvious question..."What time is it" she will get up. Always fought for that last 5 minutes of sack time.

I fight for the last hour. I'm known to set the alarm and then hit the snooze button repeatedly for about an hour

Once I open my eyes I have to get up. To fall back into sleep makes me feel like crap later on.....................

Who said anything about opening my eyes?

I moved my alarm clock over to my dresser so I actually have to get out of bed to hit the snooze button. I figured that would help. Nope. Instead I learned how to get up out of bed and navigate the distance to the loud buzzing thing with my eyes closed

That is truly a talent

I have to get the day going. Last day of the wifes craft show and I am slated to help today.
