Speaking of booze, Ive nearly got everything I need to start my batch of mead! I just need to locate some orange blossom honey and lavin d47 champange yeast! Im gonna try and hunt down a couple more carboys too, ive used glass carboys for a good bit now, but im thinking of giving the plastic ones a try. What im hearing is that they work just as well for half the cost. This new PET free plastic is supposed to be unable to leach into your brew and doesnt hold flavors of past brews. Idk, im pretty old fashioned when it comes to my brewing techniques.
