    You know what the difference is? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Just because someone used an "a" at the end as opposed to an "er" does NOT change the meaning. People with thick east coast accents say it with an "a". I know this to be true as I was once married to an Italian man from NYC with the thickest accent imaginable. If he had said it he would have been considered racist. It's the same word!!
