drive belt. second in 3 weeks. Theres a keeper pin missing :/

Buy a keeper pin. Them belts aren't cheap! $62 for mine, got 7 yrs out of it, figured I got my money's worth.

I take it the keeper pin isn't that easy to replace.

I haven't looked. Should be easy enough to grind the threads off a bolt if I can't find a replacement I think.

I've been wanting a ZTR for a long time but my ancient tractor just won't quit. I'm not complaining though, there are worse problems to have.

I'm still using a rider from 92. Or was using it. There is a bearing froze in the mower belt and I haven't taken it apart to fix it. Takes two guys to stand the mower up and none of my daughters boyfriends have come by for me to draft.

Get some rope, a block, find a good tree limb and attach one end of rope to mower, other end to car.

When I want to work under my tractor I use 5 gallon buckets under the wheels. Mine is small enough for me to lift one end by myself though. You could use a jack and maybe some blocks to lift yours if its too heavy though.
