That caught my eye. If they had a 9.5" barrel I'd probably get that along with a 9" NSR. I would like to have the barrel sticking out of the hand guard just enough to thread a suppressor on.

8.5" with the 7" NSR would probably do the trick. there would be a small gap. Maybe 1/2" or so

Have you had any reliability issues other than your handloads? People always talk bad about the 7.5s.

Nope, because its a pistol gas system and it has a suppressor on it. People usually talk bad about the ones that have been cut down.

My handloads were subsonic, and they wouldn't cycle the bolt because they are so under powered.

No, I had to add a spacer so the suppressor would be on tight. My spacer is about 3/8" and that gets it right on top of the rail.
