What would be nice is that you had a Mom you would actually talk to.
I can't imagine my kids not talking to me. Just got off the phone with the daughter. She was just letting me know what her plans were for the day and when I would be seeing her this afternoon. Plus she was letting me know she was still with child and no new Grandbaby yet

The last time I talked to my mom she asked me for money because she wanted to buy a new car and couldn't get financed. (she wanted to replace her 2011 GMC Yukon Denali.) and it wasn't a small amount of money she wanted either. Oh yeah and I was a terrible son because I said "no I don't have the money to give you."
