That a D Day clicker???
Good job Sam!Yep.
I just remembered, my MIL gave me a Metal Detector last fall. I need to find it and try it out.
Hell of a lottery. That's cool.I never did it but always wanted to try.
Kinda scary around it (so many unexploded ordnance from both world wars you can find).
But also lots of neat stuff including guns or old gold coins.
It's like the lottery, it could be a german landmine or a bag of Roman gold coins.
I remember a few years ago a guy found some old grenades from WW2 in a field, he sold them on eBay (instead of calling the bomb disposal unit to check them).
One guy bought them online and they exploded during the shipment.
Wow!!!! Remember what happened to the guy??
You mean legally what happened to the guy who sent it or physically to the guy who got it?
I dont remember if the guy got wounded went he opened it or if that exploded in the post office or whatnot.
I also heard of some explosions from WW1 or WW2 shells falling from fireplaces and exploding after being there for years.
Some people just find stuff and put it in their living room.
It's ok with a GI helmet but can be dangerous with live 60 years old ammo.
I meant the guy that sold it. Did he get in any legal trouble.
What do they do with the bombs after they take possession of it?
Good, watching a movie.
