Well, I am fianlly home. I spent the first part of the week, (Mon, Tues & Wed morning) in NW North Dakota.

Wow, that was really interesting seeing the oil fields of North Dakota.

I was unbelieveable the housing and labor shortage problems they are having.

Whole fields filled with tiny housing sheds. A housing unit no bigger than a typical yard barn was $500 a week.

There are many fast food places that have closed because they can't find labor

Seasoned scrambled eggs with ground beef, cheese, and onions. Cheesy fried hash browns. Wheat toast with honey. And some apple juice.

It WAS a beautiful plate of food.

Hate McDonalds, but I couldn't find anything for lunch Tuesday. Paid $7.20 for a 1/4 pounder w/cheese and a small fries.

I say they start passing out some of those unused FEMA trailers to some unemployed people from other areas and tell them to have at it!
