    Im a little disappointed I didn't get more answers to my D-Day project thread.
    Not sure if it's a silly idea or if not many people saw it. :dunno:

    Give it time. I had some relatives that served, just not in Normandy.

    For some reason, they were all in the Pacific, except for one.

    Yesterday at the beach I noticed that they were no longer flying the US flag there.

    This is a pic from last year but now the US flag is replaced by the flag of Normandy.

    I dont know why, if they wanted to remove one of the flags to add the flag of Normandy (as they only have 5 poles) they should have removed the EU flag which doesn't have much meaning anyway.
    Maybe they're just out of US flag and are waiting for one to replace it.

    Probably because France can't stand the USA anymore.:dunno:

    All the other beaches of the region are flying US flags. :dunno:

    Even a restaurant next to those flag poles had a US flag.
    Actually they should remove that US flag there as it's not properly flown.
    They have one single pole with 3 national flags on it, US on top, France underneath and Canada at the bottom. :rolleyes:
