I'm back. I had to help a professor who is applying for a visa to teach in the USA. It isn't hard to believe that people decided to just come here illegally. You should see the process just to VISIT for a year. The state department's website for applications is supposed to be used by foreigners, but it is so hard to understand that I want to pull my hair out.

This guy needs to fill out DOZENS of forms and go to an interview at the embassy. I find if very hard to believe that our government could make it any more difficult. They should just have a SINGLE form and an interview, but that would make too much sense.
