Helped a new shooter today.

Young couple was there and he was trying to teach her to shoot. He had a Glock .40SW (don't know Glock Model numbers).

She fired it once and complained it hurt her hand. I had my S&W22A and offered to show her how to use it. After 4 or 5 mags of 22 and showing her how to properly hold the handgun, she was able to shoot the .40SW okay.

Your a good man Sam, I don't care what anybody else says.

I think all new shooters should start with a .22 but not everybody has one especially if you can just buy one defensive pistol.

I see it happen too often. I don't know why you would start a new shooter on a .40SW or a .45. Borrow a .22 until you get them over the "jumpyness".

Thanks!!! I love reloading. I went through 250 rounds of 9mm and didn't worry how much it was costing me for a change.

Plus, with what I shot and what I picked up from other shooters trash, I have about 400 rounds I can reload.

That's awesome! I'd like to get info reloading. Just don't have the money for all the stuff.

Got it done early so I could go out and play then I tweaked my back carrying the basket up stairs. I didn't go out and play then.
