Here it's more like Halloween with the kids dressing up and stuff.

Yeah I figured it wasn't quite the same sinful and shameful experience that it is here. It's one of those things I will never ever do again, but I'm glad I experienced it.

I went into the kitchen to get ice cream and what happened??? I kicked my dog's massive water bowl across the room.....

That's slightly different. I celebrated Mardi Gras once. In college. Wow. That was one of the craziest weekends of my entire life. Fun though!

Same here. I can say I experienced it. It may have been a bad idea, but I was young and dumb. At least I didn't get pregnant or a disease or killed or something. I did have a whole LOT of beaded necklaces when I left though
