    So do people sharpen their hawks?

    I got a Ontario Ranger RD Hawk for Christmas and it is dull as hell, but I know that hawks are made for chopping. Any verdict on this?

    Anything with an edge is going to need to be sharpened at some point if it gets used. Yes hawks are for chopping but a good hawk is a very multi-use tool. The couple that I own have been sharpened multiple times. However they are just cheap ones that I use for throwing. :twocents:
