We have a NAS drive down right now so we can't access some of our data.

we have the redundancy. we have paper hard copies stored and cd or DVD's of all the projects. This is just the legacy drive that runs our work station backups. so no lost data just frustrated with a piece of equipment.That's why every IT company in the world stresses redundancy

I will google fue to learn what you are talking about.If your company has to spend any money on the NAS, You should look into turning into a SAN.
