I saw a news bite that said you should cable anything worth anything in your suitcase to your suitcase.

In all seriousness though, that's pretty awful. It disgusts me that anyone could be treated that way. A waste of time and money just to be treated like dirt. Not cool.

It's just like if I lost my plane ticket and then a car ran over my bags.I could have done it at home instead of going all the way to the US, that would have been the same result.

Thats going to be me in about a year and a half. Wife's internal clock went about a year ago and I haven't heard anything else since. I love her though, so not much I can do.

I'd be crying too if I was her! I can't imagine waiting and waiting to see my boyfriend only to be told at the last minute that I couldn't. I probably would've ended up being "escorted" out. That's just horrible. What a bunch of jerks.

The TSA is a joke. Their only still around because they get lots of money to lobby to keep them where their are.
