What was throwing me off Uncle HandK ,was every ware i was looking -every one kept talking about a letter in the serial number - this gun does not have a letter in any of its numbers

You should be able to find the parts you need to bring it back to life! The S&W forum is a good sorce of knowage and parts!

i also know theres some thing to do with how many screws are on the right side of the gun ,but for the life of me i cant remember what
