Adenoids and lymph-nodes. They swell up too when you get sick. Hope you snap out of it soon!

Mine swell up when I have a cold, sore throat, allergy flare up or all 3.

doesn't feel like strep and trust me, I had enough of that with my tonsils I would remember.. maybe like db says, just swollen from the cold
