:wow: How was there no snow around? lol

Glad you had a good time at PCC. I'm really itching for a good snow up here. Fired up the snowblower the other day, got new gas for it, and got the sleds down from the attic in the garage.

my faith was restored in some of the youth of today yesterday afternoon

day before yesterday, the day of the big snow, hubby got his truck stuck in the alley. Just so happens a neighbor I have never met did too. Younger kid, maybe 23, 24. So we dug the quad out and we worked together and got both trucks out. (kinda like the old days)

Fast foward to yesterday afternoon. The plows came through early yesterday morning but never do a great job on side streets. So I have about a foot wide path of snow that needed shoveled out front so I could move my Vue back out there. I grabbed the shovel and headed out, my choice, I wanted to do it.

The kid who helped us and we helped him saw me shoveling as he was leaving to go somewhere, drove up to me, jumped out and grabbed my shovel. Said He would do it for me for free since we helped him get out yesterday. I tried to argue but he wouldn't listen, tried to tell him I wanted to do it, he wouldn't listen..

Some people are still raising their kids right

That's great MrsG, you hear this less and less these days
I know... he had his girlfriend with him and she wanted to help to, but there was only one shovel.
I was really surprised to have this young man do this being a "city kid".

Seems you see more "thugs" in the city than good kids.. :dunno:

I'm catching up on a lot of reading in the big scary :nailbite:
