lots of off-duty police, retired police, trained firefighter, Security professionals, and trained citizens are available to help protect our schools.

Wants the federal .gov to pay for schools to have armed security. Mentioned how Obama cut the school security grants out of last years budget.

talking about 11,000 instructors ready to train people. Also talking about Eddie eagle gun saftey.

Creating "the national school shield" program which will be free to all schools to help develop the best security program for them.

the head of the program will be retired Congressman Asa Hutchison.

Asa Hutchison, Former US Congressman and Administrrator of the US DEA.

Said he would only take the job if he was allowed to be independent of the NRA so that they didn't interfere.

Says they plan to have local Volunteers who will make up the security force the schools use. That way the don't rely on local or federal money to fund it.

Also wants to Get Edie eagle back in schools so that kids learn guns are not toys.
