Howdy SAM. How's the day off treating you?

Doing okay, been doing some house stuff getting ready for the holiday mostly, but I did run out to the range for an hour.

Got a cheap red dot in a trade awhile back. Mounted it to the wife's SW22A and played with that for awhile.

One thing (well there are many things) that confuses me.

What do you gain by putting on a $75-100 muzzle break/flash hider on an AR. What does that$100 break do that my stock muzzle break/flash hider doesn't do?

Is it just the coolness factor?? My AR is better than yours because it's got a $100 break???

Depends... some can redirect flash, some eliminate it. Some make lots of flash but NO felt recoil. Some cause a mixture of moderate flash suppression and moderate recoil.

Now I have to cut the back fender up so it will fit right , you did notice it was wrapped in plastic ?
