Getting geared up for Thanksgiving....Daughter's in laws are joining us and her MIL intimidates me.

My FIL called tonight, "You're coming up for Thanksgiving, right?"

I hate that he does this to us, waits until last minute then asks.. While he was on the phone we asked them to get a date for Christmas before my family does it... we'll see I guess

I'm glad you mentioned that, I need to call my Dad and see when Family Christmas is.

My FIL will call the week before Christmas then expect us to drop our plans and come to his place.. they don't believe in planning ahead.. Now I see why hubby is this way

I think we are going to start baking tomorrow. I got all of the stuff for Choc Chip Cookies, Peanut Butter Cookies and White Choc Dipped Pretzels!!

Probably won't make the pies till Monday or Tuesday.

So my Dad is in Plymouth, his Dad in Demotte.. we have to plan ahead.. especially if we want to squeeze his Mom in who lives in Wheatfield


I hate this because it always causes arguments and I love this time of year
