We live close to our off farm jobs too... make it nice when you have to fire the wood stoves because everyone else can't get there because of snow drifted roads.

I dont mind living close to work. Im the boss so I'd get called in no matter where I live. The way I see it, it all evens out. I'll sneak home for a few from time to time or take a long lunch.

Ive heard some grumbling from other supervisors because Im hourly and they arent. My boss doesnt care as long as I dont abuse it, and I dont. Plus if I get called off hours I answer the phone, they dont
