It's been a really long day. We started yesterday in Gillette, Wyoming and drove to west of Des Moines. Got up early this morning and finished the trip to Batesville.

Total trip was a little over 3500 miles.

Thats a quite a trip!! Glad your home safe and sound!

Wife has a small piece of property in north central Montana that she had never seen. It's in a huge county that has a total population of 494. The only town, the county seat has a population of 178!!

BTW, everyone carries there. Housewife shot a 200 pound wolf a couple of months ago while she was out picking blackberries in here back yard.

The Sheriff of this small county has a 1911 collection hanging in a glass box on the court house. Had about 12 1911's carried in different battles in WWI & WWII. It was soo cool.

Couldn't help but think if he hung them up here that they would be gone. It was just a cheap wood/glass box with the pistols zip-tied to the boix.

I forgot my stinkin Camera

He's going to be here tomorrow with his other gun, that he's going to loan me this week to get sighted in for him and to get used to. I might go shoot again next Saturday. I hit 5 out of 10 bullseyes and was in two shoot offs.

The name of this type of shooting is still board or turkey shoot.
