    My M&P AR. Help to steady the aim. With the scope set to high power, I move around a little to much to suite me.

    Standing? Sitting? Prone?

    Distance you normally shoot? If you're shooting less than 100yds, lower power setting on the scope is better. If you're shooting far and need it cranked up, you should probably be in prone. :dunno:


    That being said, a USGI sling is hard to beat for steadying the aim. a VTac and the "tactical" slings are better for support of carring the rifle and being able to transition side to side. They aren't really made to support the aim. So it's different functions.

    Harris Bipods are the only ones worth buying.

    I like the 'S' models because they swivel a little bit to help compensate for slightly uneven ground.

    They wanted $175 for it. It's on Bladeforums, I didn't see if that included shipping or not. :dunno:

    You want a knife for the chop-in? If I get time to sharpen mine you can use one of them.
