I ususally do grape jelly and strawberry and cherry jam every year. Yum Yum

When Mom made strawberry jam there was a point during the cooking where it formed a layer of foam on top and it got skimmed off. We used to save that stuff too. It was almost the best part!

I get that when I make grape jelly, but not when I do the freezer jams....yep, it's good stuff.

Put it in a jar and let it cool. Then refrigerate it and it will stiffen up. Spread it on toast or a biscuit and enjoy.

Dang iPad!!! If I have typo's it's when I'm on the iPad....when my spelling is good then I'm on the computer....when my grammar ...who am I kidding. Grammar and punctuation are hit and miss at the best

Just an FYI if you didn't know this, but Walmart has check printing. Needed some new checks printed and the place I had been buying wanted $49 and wouldn't be here for 3 weeks,
Walmart was $30 and could get me the checks by 9/07/12

Yep, gonna get fatter if I keep eating it too. Been out of grape jelly for a couple months and just couldn't bring myself to buy store boughten.
