    I think my daughter must be jinxed tonight. First the computer thing, now just a few minutes ago the horn in her car just started going off for no apparent reason. :dunno: It was just sitting there in front of the house with no one around it. :scratch: I went out there and beat on the steering wheel and it quit. Interesting...:n00b:
    Had the same thing happen in my truck a few years ago. The mechanism that operates the turn signals broke and was making contact on the horns wires. Had to unhook the battery until I figured out what the hell was going on.

    It better not have anything to do with that. I just replaced that part on this car a few months ago. It was a $100 part and it was a PITA to replace!

    Actually it just feels like the horn switch in the steering wheel is too sensitive for some reason. If it becomes a problem I'll probably just disconnect the switch in the steering wheel and install another one in a different location.
