    I stayed home last night to guard against idiots with fireworks near my house. I kept hearing them all around me but luckily everyone on my street seemed to have more sense.

    I had a really nice view of the fireworks downtown from the comfort of my living room. The local Fox channel showed them live on TV. :rockwoot:

    The view they were showing from the canal was nice. You could see the reflection of the fireworks on the water. I could also see the reflection on the sweaty people there too!!

    it was eerily quiet in my neighborhood. usually it sounds like WWIII on the fourth of july.

    I did almost seem strange. I usually do try to keep an eye on things around my house on Independence Day. Many people seem to get a little silly about it even when the conditions are better.
